CANCELLATION PENALTIES

Please be mindful of the following penalties shown by Royal Caribbean International!

Booking date until October 15, 2026:  No penalty

Between November 9 - 23, 2026:  25% per person charge for cancellation

Between November 24 - December 8, 2026:  50% per person charge for cancellation

Between December 9, 2026 - January 7, 2027:  75% per person charge for cancellation

From January 8, 2027 to sailing:  100% per person charge for cancellation or no show

TRAVEL CANCELLATION INSURANCE

We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance due to the vendor's very strict cancellation policies. This is to confirm that you are aware of the cancellation penalties as described above on this page and that travel insurance is available for purchase to protect against cancellation penalties due to unforeseen MEDICAL reasons.

Cruise Care Protection can be easily added to your Royal Caribbean cruise booking based on your room category:

(2D) Midship Balcony: $79 per person

(4D) Forward Balcony: $79 per person

(2N) Oceanview Window: $79 per person

(2V) Interior: $69 per person

If you desire to add Royal Caribbean's cruise protection (through Aon Affinity) to your booking, simply indicate this below and you will see it on your booking confirmation.

Cruise protection may be added at anytime up to your final payment date of October 15, 2026.  (Note: trip insurance is not paid until your final payment.)

DEPOSIT REQUIREMENTS

As explained on the CE and The Sea 2027 registration website, your initial authorized amount is as follows:

  1. Cruise deposit of $500 per stateroom (this is paid now at time of booking) -PLUS-
  2. CE cost of $300 per person taking the onboard instruction (TO BE PAID IN MID JULY and paid separately to Academy of Real Estate Professionals and through the travel agent)

Example #1: If there are 2 guests sharing a stateroom and only 1 is taking the CE sessions, then your total deposit will be $800 ($500 paid now to Royal Caribbean + $300 in mid July to AREP).  This would be the same amount for 1 guest in a cabin by themselves.

Example #2: If there are 2 guests sharing a stateroom and both are taking the CE sessions, then your total deposit will be $1100 ($500 paid now to Royal Caribbean + $600 in mid July to AREP).

Example #3: If there are 2 guests sharing a stateroom and noone is taking the CE sessions (you are invited family/friends/guests), then your total deposit is simply the $500 paid now to Royal Caribbean.
